is a monthly event sponsored by HFCN with the goal of providing opportunities for the Hattiesburg faith community to enjoy casual fellowship with other believers who enjoy live music, good food, and family friendly activities for all ages. These events are not about recruiting new members for our church (although we'll welcome anyone in). Instead, our vision for Encounter is to provide opportunity for the broader faith community to Encounter each other in God's presence as God's family. We believe The church is so much bigger than in building or congregation and want to take part in cultivating relationships, strengthening the body of Christ, and sharing what He has shared with us. God takes joy in the blessings of His people and sometimes they come in the form of FREE food and fun! Basketball, disc golf, playgrounds, cornhole, live music, and more! Rain or shine! Come on out!
