New light bulb 08-20-2025

I changed a light bulb today. No particular talent needed, no instruction manual necessary, no mental or physical strain, except the placing of a stool and the step up to reach the bulb. I changed it during the daylight hours so it was easy to see and at a time when the new bulb wasn’t even needed. But a few hours from now the sun will set and without the light of the new bulb darkness will prevail. Jesus says You are the light of the world. (Matthew 5:14) For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts…(2 Corinthians 4:6) It’s simple. The heart of a disciple of Jesus has been changed to shine. So shine! PK
