I filled my car with gas today, it was nearing empty. There are several stations near me with a difference of .20 cents between them. I chose the one .10 cents cheaper because it was easier to get in and out. We do that, don’t we? As we drive, we take note of the ever-changing gas prices and calculate our options. The one option we don’t have however is to not get gas. No gas in the tank…no power to go. What fills you? Because we don’t have the option to not go. And like cheap gas can at times be filled with contaminates that cause an engine to stumble, so what we fill our lives with determines the peacefulness of our lives. Consider this: whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:8-9) Choose daily to stay filled up! PK
