I love the early mornings because it’s then I get to hear the worship songs of the birds of the air. They sing rain or shine, wind or drought, all seasons of the year. They sing in fulfillment of their creator’s purpose and a carefree confidence in God’s provision and though unaware, even if one of them falls to ground, God sees. Will you worship today? Will your life sing today? Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today’s worship is discordant when we allow the concerns of tomorrow (bills, tests, decisions, tasks) to diminish our trust in God. Sing today, live in the carefree confidence of God’s provision and watchful eye today, be a worshipper of God! PK
